Ranked by player votes, rebuilt daily
You pick a mode, you wait for the lobby to fill, and ten minutes later somebody wins. Every Minecraft Minigames network here is ranked by the players still queueing on it, because a long mode list means nothing if none of it ever starts.
The lobby
Before you queue
A network with a thousand players still feels dead if they are spread over forty modes. What matters is the wait for the one mode you came for, at the hours you actually play, not the headline number on the front page.
A tag, a lobby pet and a particle trail change nothing once the game starts. A kit that hands you better gear on spawn changes everything. Read the store page first, because it tells you exactly how every match is going to feel.
Every network lists every mode it has ever launched, and half of them have not started a game in months. Count the ones with players in them tonight, and treat the rest of the hub as history rather than a promise.
Game mode
Minigames servers are the arcade end of Minecraft. Instead of one world you keep forever, you land in a hub, pick a mode from a portal or a compass in your hotbar, and get dropped into a short match with a scoreboard and a winner. Ten minutes later it is over, everyone is back in the lobby, and you queue for the next one.
The formats are close to standard across networks, which makes them worth learning once. BedWars puts four or eight teams on their own islands and gives each of them a bed that acts as their respawn, so the game is really about breaking beds rather than killing players. SkyWars is the same shape with no bed, one chest and about forty seconds before the first bridges land. Murder Mystery hides one killer and one bow in a lobby of innocents, Build Battle scores you on a theme, and TNT Run, Spleef, Duels and parkour courses fill out the rest of the hub. Most networks add a party system so a group can drop into whatever you pick together.
What separates the servers on this board is not the length of the mode list, it is the queue behind it. A good Minigames server starts a game in under a minute at the hours you play, keeps ranked and casual queues from splitting one small player base in half, sells cosmetics instead of kits, and runs an anticheat that holds up in a bridging fight. The servers at the top are there because their players keep coming back and voting for them.
